For two weeks before the treatment avoid aspirin and other blood thinners. Minimise alcohol consumption and smoking for a few days before the procedure. Ideally you should stop smoking completely.

During the surgery
Given the scope involved, body lift is performed under general anaesthesia. It is an extensive operation that involves removing a large amount of tissue from the body and losing a good deal of blood, resulting in bruising and swelling. The anaesthesiologist remains present during the entire procedure. You can take a sedative before the procedure begins, if you wish. This procedure requires a two to three-day stay at the clinic.

Post-operation
You may experience temporary swelling, lack of sensation or tightness in the operation sites. We recommend spending the first days after the operation lying down with your torso propped up.
